The raw material constituted by gravel in nature is extracted in an open quarry 4 Km. towards the mountain on the border between the communes of Loiano and Pianoro (Bo). The extraction in the quarry takes place with two excavators tracked with a 2,5 mc. bucket, two scrapers and a rubberized shovel. The transport of extracted material is carried out daily with 5 tractors 300 kg/each that go back and forth along the Savena valley floor. The productivity of the system is about 1.200mc/day. It is also equipped with a ICMQ certified cemented-mixed production system for road subgrades and motorways with a productive capacity of 450 mc/day.
