COOP COSTRUZIONI was founded in 1934. Today, it combines the strength of experience to build for the future. COOP COSTRUZIONI was founded in 1934 under the name "Società anonima cooperativa selciatori e posatori della città e provincia di Bologna". The company was initially involved in paving and road finishing projects for public and private clients. Work was then carried out using spades, picks, hammers and chisels; stone and granite were squared-off using these tools and porphyry paving cubes were installed.

In the wake of such early experience, COOP COSTRUZIONI later expanded by combining two sectors - building and infrastructures - in order to provide even more complete services for public and private projects. Special emphasis on economic, social and technological developments enabled COOP COSTRUZIONI to become a reliable and specialised supplier for public and private sector contracts.
